Now that I'm pregnant again, it's only natural that I'm reflecting on my previous births with the boys.
This one was epic. Sonny was presenting breech and the hospital really wanted me to have a c-section. However, my instincts were saying no.
Finally, at 15 days overdue, on the consultant-led unit, I gave birth (with an audience of doctors, midwives and paediatricians) to a happy healthy baby boy. No pain relief, no intervention. Sonny was born weighing 8lbs 3oz.

I prepared for my birth with Lex using Hypnobirthing techniques. He presented breech, but I managed to turn him using moxibustion and have a wonderful water birth on the midwife-led unit. Watch it here...
Until you get to the last stages of pregnancy, as a new mother you don't give much thought for your baby's position, well I didn't anyway!
It was only until my 32 week check up, when they measure bump and feel baby's position, did it become a thing.
